Once you feel confident about all the topics covered in the beginner session, you are ready to progress to the next level.
  • Now you know some of the basics, do you want to start using the diary and contacts functions, and are you trying to find out which apps would be suitable for your needs?   Millions of apps, (to name just a few ... books and magazines, dictionaries, language tuition, word processing, photo album, photo frame, address book, calculator, pencil or sketch pad, worldwide news, weather forecast, health and fitness, video download, torch) - the list is massive and available on your tablet.
  • Do you need someone to explain these in a simple and understandable way at your pace?
  • Would you like to transfer your photos to your tablet so you can show them within seconds or print them wirelessly?
  • Would you love to know how to organise all your documents/apps so you can find them quickly?
  • Plus: using YouTube, eBooks, Skype/Facetime and watching your missed TV programmes using catchup TV apps.

General outline of the intermediate session.  (Please note that covering all these topics does depend on the individual.  It is not guaranteed that we will be able to examine each one in depth.)

1. Getting to know more about your tablet - how to transfer your diary and contacts?  Where to keep important information as a reminder.
2. Exploring the App Store - What is available that would be useful to you? Will it be free or if not what will the price be?
3. Downloading music, videos and obtaining a magazine subscription
4. Emailing pictures, using the screenshot, filing pictures in albums, retrieving them, easy transfer to someone else.  Printing your pictures. Shooting a video, naming and replaying, sound recordings
5. Using eBooks, buying books from the store, saving pdf's to your library, using YouTube and the various catch up TV players to watch those important missed programmes.
6. Saving and printing your documents.
7. Using Skype, Facetime and other equivalents to call people over the internet for free.
